Work has been carried out to optimize the strength development of quaternary blended binders consisting of four components: Portland cement clinker (50%), blast furnace slag, fly ash, and limestone powder. By regulating the particle size distribution of the raw materials, it was possible to achieve an improvement in strength performance. The best results were recorded for compositions with a 30% slag content, where the strength increase at 28 days reached up to 18%, surpassing the performance of samples with 20% slag. Nevertheless, the proposed optimization method remains hypothetical at present, as the production of highly dispersed slag using current grinding and screening technologies is considered economically unfeasible.
