Within the framework of this study, parameters such as the friction coefficient and surface roughness were investigated for copper coatings formed on an aluminum oxide (Al2O3) substrate under the influence of pulsed erosion plasma flows (EPF) using various modes. It is important to note that during the generation of the plasma flow, erosion of the copper electrodes occurs, resulting in their material being transferred and deposited onto the substrate to form a coating. It is shown that the deposition of copper coatings leads to changes in surface roughness and waviness parameters, and, accordingly, the friction coefficient.
