The article examines the issues of active power distribution between a wind power generator with blade pitch angle control and a diesel generator operating in parallel under changing load power conditions. It is shown that when the capacities of the wind generator and the diesel generator are equal, and when wind speeds exceed the rated value, only a small reduction in load power is possible. If energy consumers do not impose strict requirements on the voltage frequency, a greater permissible reduction in load power can be achieved by adjusting the setpoint of the diesel engine rotational speed. It has been found that the conditions for parallel operation of wind turbines and diesel generators can be improved (without considering optimality from an economic standpoint) by increasing the installed capacity of diesel generators. Increasing the share of installed diesel generator capacity not only expands the limits of allowable wind speeds but also allows for significant load fluctuations.
