This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the steady-state modes of the 110 kV "Darkhan – Bugant" power grid within the Central Energy System of Mongolia and evaluates the effectiveness of its technical modernization. Using the DIgSILENT PowerFactory software suite, voltage levels were found to exceed permissible limits, reaching 1.117 p.u. To stabilize these parameters, the installation of shunt reactors at a nodal substation is proposed. Implementation of this solution enables a 4% reduction in voltage deviation, minimizes technical losses, and ensures grid stability. The results confirm the techno-economic feasibility of the proposed measures.
