Annotation:

This article discusses the modern approach to the design of energy-efficient external wall structures. The main attention is paid to the analysis of thermal characteristics, features of constructive solutions, the selection of thermal insulation materials and the reduction of heat loss. The proposed principles for the construction of multi-layer external wall structures have been developed based on the consideration of local climatic conditions, current norms and rules, and the requirements of sustainable construction. The results of the study prove the importance of improving the external wall systems of buildings in order to increase their overall energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Keywords: structures, energy efficiency, thermal insulation, energy consumption, protective structures, walls, multilayer.
