Annotation:

The paper presents an analysis of various methods for studying the acoustic and damping properties of metallic materials and an assessment of their effectiveness. Based on the conducted research, the installation for studying the acoustic damping properties of metals and alloys has been improved, which allows for increased accuracy in measuring the acoustic damping properties of metals and alloys due to the simplified and accurate method of securing the sample at different angles of inclination and the use of modern measuring instruments.
